Most, not all, of the time I try to playback FLAC files through the app I get errors like this:

Level: ERROR
Thread: 3
Logger: PlaybackService

Session: {"PackageArchitecture":"Neutral","PackageFullName":"436337Illusions.com.MediaBrowser_3.4.2.338_neutral__77hd5e1v1hqs4","PackagePublisher":"CN=CA9FBA89-9B8C-4501-9177-37B89E41D3FF","PackagePublisherId":"77hd5e1v1hqs4","PackageResourceId":"","PackageVersion":"3.4.2.338","InstallationId":"a9db0caf-666a-4957-b013-c62e4116cf29"}

These same tracks play fine in the web UI but of course that's transcoding to MP3.

Hi,

This is fixed in the upcoming release. There was some disconnect with the server. If you check the server transcodes them while the app is expecting direct stream.

Sweet, excellent news.  FLAC support in this client was one of the primary reasons I updated the HTPC to Win 10.

This is fixed in the new build though the server still reports the client as transcoding during playback.  I assume that's really just a stream copy since there is no transcoding log data generated.
