Swampy 0 Posted August 23, 2015 Share Posted August 23, 2015 Hi, I've been using Plex for about 5 years but their SmartTV app sucks so I'v been looking at alternative options. A friend mentioned Emby and after installing it I'm impressed. The App seems to work well on my TV (Better than the Plex one). My question is, I get a popup about my trial expiring and needing to unlock the app, do I need to purchase a subscription for this? I've recently bought Plex so I'm not really looking to pay for something else until I can properly test it. What happens when the trial expires? does the app stop working all together? if so It's not worth my time to get my medial all installed and updated within Emby. Thanks.
