Christian_S 5 Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 I've tried to find guides on how to configure the Emby server so that the movie library is split into two sections; Movies and Kids Movies. With MB2 I just had a directory for Kids Movies and one for Movies. With Emby all my movies are added to the same library. Can I split the Emby movie library according to directories on the server? Christian_S 5 Posted August 22, 2015 Author Share Posted August 22, 2015 Thanks, but I'm not able to get it to work. My Libary within the Emby Server has Movies. Under Movies two directories are added. On the emby server I select Home. I see all the movies mixed together (Parents and Kids content). I select the user icon in the upper right corner > Settings. Then I pick Home Screen tab and scroll down to My Views * I check the item "Display a folders view to show plain media folders". Save settings. When I go to the front I can select "Folders". Then I have the option Movies, TV Series. If I pick Movies I see Parents and Kids movies mixed. I do understand that the Library and meta data is much more flexible. Is there a way that I can get emby to use the directory to update the library meta data to classify movies under \\server\kidsmovies as kids movies? Where are you in Emby on the first screen shot? Koleckai - how do I create multiple Libraries. On the emby server I have Library. I'm adding directories and setting a type like movie.
