Hi10p problems

Whenever I attempt to play a Hi10p encoded mkv through the app, it refuses to play, it says its trying to direct play, which I assume it doesn't support as the default Microsoft video app does the same thing when attempting to play Hi10p encoded mkvs. The problem is, it doesn't fallback to transcoding when this happens. Is there a way set only Hi10p mkvs to transcode by default?

 

As an aside, the VLC for Modern windows app has no trouble playing them, I don't know if it would be possible to use its playback instead, but that could be a solution.

 

Here are the server and transcode logs, my emby server is running on FreeNAS if that's important.
