If the user didn't have the item before and after an update now has access and you receive it as an update item instead of an add item will it still get added into the Kodi library? Angelblue05 4130 Posted August 19, 2015 Share Posted August 19, 2015 It should be ok if you send items to remove that's not in the Kodi library. It does a verification in the database first. Item added and updated is the same method, so it should not cause any problem. jurmb84 281 Posted August 19, 2015 Author Share Posted August 19, 2015 Just ran a few tests... When a user's parental control access is changed there is no notification at all... So my previous statement is not necessarily true... I should be able to do what I proposed above if an item is changed... But I think I will still need to do a scheduled task to capture when a person's parental control access is changed... And allow it to be run manually for those (like me) who don't like to wait...
