Updating Server/Client will cause XXX to require update

Is there any chance that when you get the message to update the server or client software... It can warn you that updating will break other things like plugins, or the android app.

 

I went to use the android app last night in bed only to be told it's not compatible again... at present there's no auto update for it and that means finding the apk and side loading it onto the tablet.... Not a big job, but not something you want to do after getting all warm and cosy in bed.  

 

Just a little note to let you know that updating will require you to update other things too.

Have you purchased the Android app from the Play Store, as all betas have expired?

This simply isn't practical.  There is no way for us to be able to maintain all of these dependencies. We should be making breaking changes very infrequently, however.
