CBers 6780
I hope you followed xnappo's advice to turn off automatic updates for your add-ons because we have just pushed a true 'beta' version. Only proceed when you have time to update and reset / re-scan your library. OK, I think I have Auto-Update set on my Fire TV. Is there a file within the Kodi folder structure that I can amend so that I can stop the auto-update without having to start Kodi first ?? If I start Kodi, it will auto-update I think. Thanks. im85288 1493
No there isn't. It needs to be done within Kodi
xnappo 1593
I would think it would be in an xml file somewhere.
Angelblue05 4130
@@CBers You will need to modify your guisettings.xml (inside the %appdata%/Roaming/Kodi/Userdata/ for windows....) - I think with the ABD software you should be able to pull and push the new settings. Search for "addonupdates" and modify the value to 2: <addonupdates>2</addonupdates> Edited July 21, 2015 by Angelblue05
reluctantflux 38
Just disconnect it from the network first. Then open Kodi and turn off the updates for the addon.
CBers 6780
Thanks guys. I took the plunge and let it update. Seems to be working fine. I've changed auto-update to Notify now
