If it is possible could bookmarks be added to the Emby for Windows Media Center plugin. When watching a movie and I leave before the end and someone else keeps watching it, it would be nice to be able to bookmark the spot that I stopped watching and return to it later.

That's what different user profiles are for...

@ChiefBottleWasher Thanks for the reply. But what I'm talking about is while watching a show with my wife and I leave before the show is over. I don't believe that any amount of profiles will help in this scenario.

Actually, it would but may be more effort than you are willing to undertake.

EMC has a feature called "Also Here".  It is a way for you to tell it that more than one user is watching something.

So, if you and your wife had separate profiles you could do the following:

1) log in your wife

2) go to the user menu and check off you as "also here"

3) start watching something

4) when you leave, stop the item temporarily and un-check that you are also here.

5) re-start the item

This would leave you with the proper resume point.  While that process is more involved than may be practical for every day use, it isn't that much more involved than whatever would be necessary to create something like a bookmark.

@chiefbottlewasher Thanks I'll have to look into that and see how practical of a solution that might be. I was suggesting a feature that would be useful to the user regardless of what it takes to program the feature. An add-on to media center called media control offered this feature and I used it often until the codec package I use stopped using ffdshow, that enabled media control to work, so now I don't have this feature anymore; but if it's too much trouble then that's all I can do is make a feature suggestion.
