Add overlaid Play buttons to items for a "quick play" feature

Hi All,

 

I think it would be good if at an item-level there were play buttons overlaid on the image preview, serving as a quick play function. In Music we have this (sort of), when viewing songs – there is a play button to the left of the item. Attached some pics of the idea.

 

It would be good to extend this to the item-level in various other areas;

 

• Tv Shows, at the item-level (when viewing episodes in a Season)
• Lastest Unwatched Episodes, Next Episodes..
• Possibly Movies

 

 

As a quick play feature it reduces the steps needed to play, much like hitting the play button on a media centre remote in MBC today (I use it a lot) It bypasses the details screen, when you don’t care to see it

 

There could possibly be a remote play button also.

 

This is more of a Windows thing, which IMO is great. Play buttons are overlaid more on video files In Skydrive, Windows Phone, Windows 8.x video app etc.

i 2nd this..  would be great to have a play option and watched checkbox when looking at the latest screen, and option to play the video without going all the way to the video detail page.
