raptorjr 9
I like to use the webinterface to browse around my movies and started to wonder if it would be possible to start playback on a Kodi device in my network instead of starting the playback in the browser? Would be nice to browse around on the iPad and when I found what I want to watch I could initiate the playback from the iPad and Kodi starts to play the file. Instead of having to navigate with the remote to find the movie. Maybe using Emby for Kodi in some way?

raptorjr 9
Where can I read more about this feature, because I don't understand how to use it?
Vidman 589
There is a cast button in the top right side of the web interface this allows you to select another device to play to, once you have emby for kodi correctly installed and connected to the same server it will show up as a device in the cast popout list allowing you to play items in the web interface on your kodi device. It is quite simple and intuitive to use Edited June 24, 2015 by Vidman
