Saner2oo2 4
Ok I have an ubuntu box that runs Kodi and Emby perfectly fine. I thought rather than use NFS as I had been to serve my daughters PC I would use Kodi. With 15B2 I ran into loads of issues, so I dropped back to 14.2 (removed all kodi folders first) and installed the addon. it found and synced fine. but I cannot play movies! I thought at first maybe it was HD stuff, but ND and SD TV works fine, Movies always fail. I tried making a dummy profile just for testing and that failed too. I also dont seem to be able to play movies via the web browser (again TV works fine) Emby Log - http://paste.ubuntu.com/11741113/ Kodi Log - http://xbmclogs.com/pyjemd4tx Any pointers would be great They all play fine on the local box via kodi. edit// tried disabling cinema experiance, thinking its movies, but it still failed Edited June 19, 2015 by Saner2oo2
Angelblue05 4130
Your Kodi log is incorrect, next time can you follow our how to report a problem sticky in our kodi forums? It will make our lives easier How are your movie paths? Is your library > movies path set as a local path (for example d:\movies) or network share (\\server-name\movies)?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited June 20, 2015 by Angelblue05
Saner2oo2 4
yeah local paths, not network storage (the tv shows and movies are actually on the same drive) i will grab a proper log when i can get to the box (weekend and kids :s) but as i noted it fails in the same way from the web ui
Saner2oo2 4
well I fixed it, kind of anyway. I was playing with docker, and switched emby to that, and now it works! no idea what was wrong but it's working now
