BrianMac21 1
Hi guys, I can usually fix any issues like this myself but I'm stuck on this one. Here's what happened; I was watching a TV show that I realised I needed subtitles for on my iPad using the app I went back to my Emby Server and replaced the files of my show with new files that had the subtitles hardcoded I let Emby Server run the find media task and it completed fine. I opened the TV show back up on my iPad and the file wont play; it just gets stuck on 'Loading...' Here's what I've done to try to fix it; I opened the show on my laptop and phone and it plays perfectly on both I've deleted the show's folder completely, ran the find media task, added the folder and ran the find media task again I've restarted the server multiple times I've deleted the app and downloaded/installed it again My conclusion is that the iPad app cant play the file because it's looking for the original file that I played. I've noticed that the watched indicator is still on the files which means that the ID assigned to the previous files has been carried across to these files too and that may be the issue for the iPad. Do ye guys have any ideas of what it might be or how I could fix this? I can post logs or anything you need; just let me know. Thanks guys. Luke 37196
Ok, please see http://emby.media/community/index.php?/forum/53-windows/ We'll do our best to help. Unfortunately it's not our app so we're limited to what we can do. We will be releasing our own ipad app very soon.
