VladTepz 46 Posted June 13, 2015 Share Posted June 13, 2015 Hi, so I'm using Emby for Kodi v1.0.07 with Kodi 15.0 Isengard – Beta 1.Kodi 15 has a new option in System>Video>Playback to Enable/Disable "Prefer default audio streams".What I did was to add 2ch ACC audio to my media & set to default, This helped a lot with playback to lower end devices as now they do not have to downmix the audio.My main HTPC is connected to a 5.1 receiver (AC3/DTS). By disabling, "Prefer default audio streams", Kodi selects the best available audio stream, so if I played a movie that has ACC,AC3,& DTS audio streams, Kodi would automatically play the movie using the DTS audio stream.This stopped working with Emby for Kodi v1.0.05 or v1.0.06, not 100% sure when this stopped working as I just recently noticed.If somebody could look into this, it would be appreciated & I am willing to help in anyway I can.
