Using the Vera, does anyone know how to automate the following scenarios?

  1. How can I play X playlist to Y DLNA device?  In this case, a lullaby music playlist to a Sonos Play in the nursery.
  2. How can you stop it?
  3. How could I play Live TV Channel X on Y device?

@@chef, would you be familiar with how to do any of these scenarios from the Vera?

Should this be in a timer? Choosing certain times of day to start a playlist? Or would you be pressing a button on a server page.

If it is a scheduled occuance, perhaps a scheduled task in emby would be a better way to handle it. That can be written easily in a plugin fashion.

What do you think?

For the nursery rhymes, it would be a scene controller firing a Vera Scene.   So ideally, it would be able to be fired by the Vera.

The LiveTV could be on a timer, but ideally it could come from Vera (as the IR command to turn the TV on would come from Vera).

Is there a "simple HTTP" command that I can run from the Vera that will trigger Emby to do X?  Storing the API key somewhere in the http request.

Yes there is an HTTP command for sure. I'm at work right now.

I'll post it later.
