NerdFurnace 0 Posted June 9, 2015 Share Posted June 9, 2015 I installed the emby server and it works great except now I can not find it after rebooting my pc. NerdFurnace 0 Posted June 9, 2015 Author Share Posted June 9, 2015 (edited) No. My wife and I each have user accounts on the windows 8.1 machine allong with an admin account. I installed it on my account with the admin permissions that it asked for. I made bookmarks for chrome when it was working and now they do not work. I also tried localhost:8096/web/livetvstatus.html and others with no luck. Should there be an icon somewhere? You will need to give permissions for each of your accounts to access where the server was installed (under the admin account's %appdata%) or run it as a service and configure it to start up with the machine.
