I am running a dedicated Media server with Emby Server version 3.0.5621.4 . I have a pfSense router/firewall setup on my Lan and I am connecting to the Emby Media server using the VPN Server on my pfSense router/firewall and have installed OpenVpn client on both my Ipad and Windows 7 laptop.

 

I am able to connect to the Emby Server with both my Ipad and Windows 7 laptop with no problem. The issue I am having  is I get this error message, "There was an error processing the request please try again later." The video then freezes on both the Ipad and laptop. Not sure what can be causing this? When I connect to my server locally, with my Ipad and laptop, I do not have this issue.

 

Any ideas on what could be causing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

so this is with the ipad app?

No, I just log into the Media server remotely using ipad with OpenVpn client and pfsense VPN server which  takes me  into the Emby server app and navigate to the media I want to watch from there. Thanks

Ok, I see one error in there that will be fixed for the next server release. it is hard to tell for sure if it is the cause of the onscreen problem your'e seeing though, but it could result in a stoppage of play

Thank you Luke for your help. Greatly appreciated. I will connect remotely to the Emby server a little later to get you a better log with the actual time that I do connect to the Ipad and Laptop.

Luke here is another Server log . At timestamp 06/07/15 minute 15:26 the same error occurred on the Laptop. On the same date and minute 15:27 the same error occurred on the Ipad.

Yes , playback stopped at that point. sometimes the picture would freeze and or go slow then stop.
