smidley 20
I installed the Emby add-on tonight and set all my settings to stream over the network from my Emby server. My Kodi library was using mysql before. I told it to reset the Kodi database and restart. When it tried to come back up, Kodi just tries to launch over and over again and then eventually fails and drops me to a Ubuntu login screen. I'm running Xbmcbuntu with Kodi version 14.2. I made sure I didn't have any of my old mysql settings still in my advancedsettings.xml file. I'm not really sure what else to check. I have the same exact setup in my living room and migrated to the Emby library with no problems at all. Anyone have any ideas of what I can check? Thanks! EDIT: I figured out the issue. Saw this in my crashlog "ERROR: SQL: SQL error or missing database" Since I was coming from a mysql database, it was still trying to use that for some reason in some of my .db files. I just renamed the Database folder Database.old and then it started working again. Weird. Edited May 27, 2015 by smidley
