Emby/Kodi 1.0.3 can't play movies or TV show see log link

After a rebuild of BD, syn started and completed nicely withing a reasonable time scale, all seems well from the look of things, then I chose  to play a movie, KA-BOOM got an error msg, sorry I did not capture screen shot, however, this captured in the log.

It shows in your log that you are still using version 0.1.3. Can you try updating to the latest version and try again. Let me know if it fixes the issue, thanks!

The initial issue was unable to play movies or tv shows with 0.1.3, however when I rebuild the system everything seems fine, but there are several lines of errors in the log, so i thought this worth reviewing and resolve if the cause is due to emby script otherwise I am good on the surface.

This means that for those episodes there is no season filled in the metadata. Just open up your Emby webinterface browse to the metadata manager and fix the missing season numbers. The addon won't import any episodes with a missing season because that won't be recognized by Kodi as a valid episode.

 

BTW: for better metadata recognition by the Emby server format your filenames like this: "Tv Show Name S01E01" so without the space between the season and the episode number
