Hi ,

first sorry für English transelate :F  here is the German Post http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/21134-https-und-emby/

I 'm still in the testing phase with Emby : D

Currently I am extremely pleased in terms of browser history and co.

Now to my problem :

I have everything everything goes smoothly on https port 443 and created and the browser .

Unfortunately, neither the Kodi Addin nor the Media Theater or the IOS App and co Works .

In Wiki I could see not the all applications are designed for https .

Is there a road map or a list of Anwensungen / apps already run on https ? Emby itself I find it cool and it's fun , it would even help with Livetime Abbo . But would the mindestvorraussetztung https for everything for me .

greeting

wow that translator sucks...       I'm sure its just as bad going from English to German so I wont even try.    I don't know the answer to your question, but I'm going to repeat your question for the people that gave up reading half way through...

You want a list of Emby apps that support HTTPS, and a possible time frame that other apps will support HTTPS.

FYI The Emby web browser client looks pretty good on almost all devices and web browsers support https....

@@pir8radio lol, you'd think translator would evolve with time, but it's still terrible in 2015.

I've added support for HTTPS with the Emby for Kodi addon. Are you saying it's not working? What settings are you using?

Da die Lösung

Emby for Kodi is what you want: http://emby.media/co...kodi-open-beta/

  1. First you install this repo in Kodi: http://cdn.mediabrow....kodi-1.0.1.zip
  2. Then in the repo > Video add-ons > Emby for Kodi
  3. Primary server address is your Emby server address
  4. Port should be 8920 unless you changed it (it tells you what it is in your Emby dashboard)
  5. Enable HTTPS

Sorry that I missed this information earlier. :) You will be pleasantly surprised, I'm sure! If you need help, don't hesitate to ask.
