Everything works perfectly, choose serie from phone connect to chromecast and start. Only after 10 minutes the image freezes, audio continues, but after a minute or so everything goes smooth again. but after a 5-10 minutes this repeates, Looking in the admin console shows the transcoding bar (red) all the way to the end, so that shouldn't be a problem. Lowering playback to 5 Mbit from chromecast doesn't solve the problem (does it need a server reboot??). Playing back through media browser classic works flawless as is DNLA to LG TV (only no subtitles). small update: Chromecast test on another network (through Internet) on professional grade WIFI (Aerohive) results in the same effect. Having similar a issue to the OP, except mine just completely freezes every 3-4 mins, how does one push an update to the chromecast receiver please ?
