Kodi acting erratic

Long story short, my kodi has been rebooting on my a good bit lately.  Stop a video reboot, check updates, reboot.  Things it doesnt do without emby.

Another thing it does, it will quit talking to the server.  Watched 2 shows tonight, neither appear in the recent activity.  As though suddenly emby/kodi are not reporting to the server.

And then another, watching a show tonight when the episod. just quit/stopped with a few minutes left.  There was no option to recover so I rebooted.  Even after reboot, I couldnt resume playback.  The video just hung.

I thought it would be easiest to group all issues in one as everything does appear to relate

Make sure in your Emby for Kodi settings that you haven't enabled https if you are not using it. Let me know.

22:58:41 T:1837986880 ERROR: /storage/.kodi/addons/script.module.requests/lib/requests/packages/urllib3/util/ssl_.py:79: InsecurePlatformWarning: A true SSLContext object is not available. This prevents urllib3 from configuring SSL appropriately and may cause certain SSL connections to fail. For more information, see https://urllib3.readthedocs.org/en/latest/security.html#insecureplatformwarning.
                                              InsecurePlatformWarning

As for your actual problem I'm thinking maybe we need to just set a check for runtimeticks.

as a heads up, item 3 was a bad file.  I went and tried playing it on my computer with MPC-HT, which plays everything and it had the same behavior.

I will check the https tonight.

Does it work ok if you disable ssl? Just curious.

checked for SSL, opened emby add-on setting, under emby tab, SSL/https is not enabled.

Thanks for checking. I think I will have to add an extra verification for it. Just incase :)
