After switching to official docker, after a restart Movies is always empty

I have 2 sections, Movies and TV Shows.

 

My old docker had a mapping for /media where I pointed it to my server. 

 

My new docker, the default mapping i /mnt.

 

I kept my /media and and my TV library path set to that. Everything is good. On a restart they are all there.

 

I pointed to Movies section to the new /mnt mapping. On a restart  my movies section is always blank. Seconds after I start a Library scan, they all show up. It already knows the movies are there so it doesn't have to match them again or download metadata.

 

/mnt and /media point to the same place. 

 

Not sure why my movies section needs a scan to populate the data every time but tv section is fine.

 

Any thoughts?

probably the server's program data path is getting cleared out between your restarts
