How do you manually set a boxset as a "collection" ?

Basically the title ! I've a few boxsets that don't seem to have come up as collections. There's an xml file in the ones that open, but it opens up blank??

You create it with the web client .

Here is the correct process, to build on what EBR posted:

1. Put your movies that belong in collections in the exact same folder structure as any other movies.  For example I just ripped 3 superman films to:
   
   \\Server\Movies2\HD\Superman (1978)
   \\Server\Movies2\HD\Superman 2 (1980)
   \\Server\Movies2\HD\Superman Returns (2006)
    
2. Create boxset in the web UI:
   
   -Click Collections from the Emby Home screen
   -Click the + button
   -Type the name of the collection.  If the collection exists on TMDB then tick the box to download metadata from the internet.
   -Click on the newly created collection > click the titles tab > search for your titles.
   
   -OR-
   
   Install auto-boxset plugin and if the collection exists on TMDB it will be created automatically.
