lrhlpz 4
Hi! I have a Windows Server 2012 machine with the Hyper-V role activated, with 2 VMs (Windows 8.1 and a Windows 10 TP machine) and I want to install Emby. My options: - Installation of Emby on the server (not virtualized). - Installation of Emby on a Virtual Machine. Pros and cons? Thanks.

Blob 7
Hi, I'm running 2012R2 with Hyper-V with a 6 core processor and 64GB RAM. Using a virtual Ubuntu server with just emby is working ok for me. I can snapshot every time I do an upgrade. Running for a week without problems, then I just delete the snapshot Again Since TVHeadend plugin is under its way I will probrally drop NPVR running on my host with a HDHomerun Networktuner. TVHeadend server is running in its own Virtual Ubuntu. No cons from my side. Regards.
