There are a lot of different makes of this kind of box, and they innovate fast. Main issues to be mindful of are -

- firmware and software support can be patchy

- after-sales support can be hard to come by

- the remote is usually poor

- an interface designed for touch can be challenging on a tv, you would need an air mouse

Thanks for that info. After reading some of the reviews on this particular item I'm leaning more towards the Intel Compute Stick or the Minix. I already have a couple Chromecasts and a Roku 3 and after seeing the Nexus specs and limitations I'm leaning toward something more Mini-PC like that I can get under the hood and tinker with. Does the Nexus with Emby support LiveTV?
