Sort TV by Air Date

Hi, I'm trying to convert from Recorded TV HD to MediaBrowser.  However, one issue that I have is the view sorting by DATE in WMC/Classic to show the latest shows (outside of the recent EHS menu which only shows the last 10 or so episodes) on the weekends.  My experience for TV views I thought would help:

• Unplayed: Shows the greatest of # unplayed episodes.  So for example, I haven't watched Breaking Bad yet, but since I have all the DVD's as a gift ripped....even though SNL was just added with 1 unwatched episode.
• Date:  Places in some date related order, but not the latest episodes aired or ripped. It also doesn't seem to be the date added either.  Perhaps it's using future episode dates as it's not matching the date added?
• Year - Groups all items alphabetically, but is grouped by year.

I'd like a view more like a DVR type list of last items added....or ideally add a new view based on air date for TV (or release date for movies vs date added).  Am I missing this view possibility somewhere?
