sveyland1 0
All of a sudden I have been unable to Fast Forward/Rewind or Skip Back or Forward. I am running Server Version 3.0.5518.7. I think the problem started after i last updated the server. I have tried both in Media Browser Classic (3.0.258.0) and Media Browser Theater (3.0.5531.26414) In Media Browser Theater the time bar tracks the current progress of what I am watching but after the slash it just shows 00:00. In Media Browser Classic it shows the total time but will not Skip Forward or Back or change to a time I select in the progress bar. Some logs that may help: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fndkj6hco953gfs/MBClassic-2332015663698cdd76e4b6aba2bf563c28618e4.log?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/nx29aku2dt0jsy8/server-63562669266.txt?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/0uz5p05mqzwx41y/theater-63562734282.txt?dl=0 Let me know what more information might be needed. Thank you for your help. Edited March 23, 2015 by sveyland1
Solution ebr 14936 Posted March 24, 2015 Solution Share Posted March 24, 2015 Something has changed in your environment (share permissions?) such that the clients can no longer directly access the media so they are streaming - which will provide limited seeking capability (if at all). sveyland1 0
Yes, I noticed the problem, but didnt get the chance to report yet what it was. Thank you for the reply. I have my Media on External HDDs that are pooled into one drive. All is conected on the computer I was using. For ability to view accross my network of course the server is pointed to the network location of the pooled drive. I didn't notice this drive got unshared and it didnt occure to me it would be the problem when I was watching on the computer that the HDDs are physcially connected to. You can close this topic. Thank you.
