Iorifly 15
The MB analyzing real-time HD, does not limit the useful life of the HD? For the NAS server with windows server when the hard drives are not active, they are disabled.
Koleckai Silvestri 1150
With technology upgrades, you will most likely update your hardware before your drives pass their 1,000,000 hours. That is more than 100 years. Granted your drives will most likely suffer some failures well before that since we don't keep them in perfect environments. However it probably won't be due to the real time monitoring of MediaBrowser. My oldest drives are currently 4 years old and I will probably replace them this year. As time passes, I will rotate out the others. Though if you are using consumer Seagate drives, you are on your own.
