Trouble skipping forward in .wtv files

First off, thank you all for the amazing work you've done!  I LOVE being able to watch my media directly in an app on the samsung tv and you guys are just AWESOME for making it happen.

 

I am having a slight bit of difficulty skipping ahead or rewinding .wtv files in the app and was wondering if anyone else was.  They resume great, I can watch them just fine, but if I try to fast forward or rewind, it acts like it pauses.  When I hit play again, it hasn't moved forward, and just resumes from where it was before.

 

I'm running this on a Samsung F8000 and have am running with the latest version (0.571).  This isn't a new issue I've had, I've had trouble with wtv files since I started using it.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated .

WTV isnt natively supported by Samsung (from memory)  so I have to transcode them to play on the tv - As such, fast forward / rewind is disabled. It shouldn't pause it though, so will look into it

Is FF / RW disabled in the app for all transcoded playback?

 

You can FF / RW in other clients.

I lie - is isn't disabled but it isn't implemented either.. Basically its buggy!

So does that mean it would be possible to implement or maybe not because of transcoding? Either way thanks for an awesome app!
