Ceton echo extender not finding server

I have updated media browser classic to version .254 and my ceton extender can't automatically find my mediabrowser(version 3.0.5518.7) server unless i manually enter in the IP address.

I haven't tried Media Browser Connect as of yet.

Is Media Browser "Connect" the only way to automatically connect to my media Browser.

I thought it should at least be able to find my server and connect to it without using "Connect".

I can supply logs if there sounds like an issue.  Please let me know

Thanks your time and efforts!

Once I manually inputted IP address, on Advance tab from Settings there is an option to connect to the server automatically.  I changed this to connect to current server and it solved my issue of not having to use "Connect" for my extender. Thanks fo your time and efforts.

It should be able to find it automatically but there are some things that might trip it up.  Like if you aren't allowing UDP traffic, or if the server was asleep at the time.
