dansarrosick 0 Posted February 21, 2015 Share Posted February 21, 2015 Hi - I am able to cast video files from the Android app to Chromecast with no problem. 1080p video, 10GB files look great. I cant seem to get any WMC recorded wtv files to play correctly however. The video starts up and the quality looks great but every minute or so the video freezes. It doesn't show paused in the app and after 5s or so it just continues. The wtv files are renamed using MCEBuddy so that MBS can see them but not converted or comskipped at all. At first I thought it was just too much to push across wifi but even larger, higher bit rate MKVs and AVIs work great so its not a bandwidth issue. I am trying to wean myself and the family off of WMC and getting these files to play over the Chromecast will be a huge step. Any thoughts? Thanks.
