SwanStream 59
Hi All, New to Kodi, coming from a long relationship with SageTV... after installing the server (Version 3.0.5518.5) on a windows 7x64 pc and starting the app I get this: "MediaBrowserServerApplication.exe - Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point I_RpcBindingSetPrivateOption could not be located in the dynamic link library RPCRT4.dll" Hit the OK button and all seems fine, but it'd be nice not to have to provide input each time the server starts. Doing a search for that dll on the system shows quite a few in various places. Beyond that I've no idea how to resolve the problem, any suggestions? SwanStream 59
Thanks. So I've uninstalled and reinstalled 4.5. The error continues. Any other ideas?
Luke 37116
At this point, google. It's something environmental on your system. This might be helpful: http://www.vistax64.com/general-discussion/197168-link-libary-message.html
SwanStream 59
Understood, it's not a MediaBrowser issue at this point. Thanks for the pointers! I did find this on MSDN that seems related but have no idea what to do about it.... "I_RpcBindingSetPrivateOption is valid procedure in Windows 8 RPCRT4.dll but not in Windows 7. Checked Project settings in Visual Studio and changed target framework to .NET 4. It worked like a charm and now that annoying error window is just a bad memory."
