Got bored so I ran it again.

Same error.

Son-of-a-bitch.... I feel stupid.

 

Decided to look at the options for makepkg, and see a -i for Install package after successful build... no shit. She's running!

As long as you build the package using the instructions either on this site or on the Arch wiki, the package will only update the binaries and the configuration and data will be left alone.

You might want to post in the android forum with version of the app are you running and the things that you have done.
