zakraket 3
In MB2 there is a configfix which enabled you to delete movies from the UI. Is there a way to do this in MB3? I tried searching the forum but there didn't appear to be a topic about this
Solution Tikuf 663 Posted November 5, 2013 Solution Share Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) %appdata%\MediaBrowser-Classic\Configurations\ open the user you want to enable delete for and edit the xml <Advanced_EnableDelete>False</Advanced_EnableDelete> to <Advanced_EnableDelete>True</Advanced_EnableDelete> Only in Mb Classic but i assume thats it what you are talking about Edited November 5, 2013 by Tikuf
ebr 14972
In addition, you will need to set EnableAdvancedCmds to True.
zakraket 3
Great, I'll try it! Almost the same as in MB2 (maybe I could have known? :| ) Yes, I meant MB Classis, sorry! Edited November 5, 2013 by zakraket
zakraket 3
It works, BUT....all my movies are in a seperate moviefolder, and the databaseinfo (pictures, xmls etc) are also kept in this directory. WHen I delete a movies using MBC the moviefiles is deleted, not the moviedirectory. I get left with a movie-instance in my library that doesn't work anymore and I have to manually delete the folder. Is there a fix for this? And is it possible to delete a movie from f.e. the Androidclient of the webclient? I can't find any options Edited November 16, 2013 by zakraket
ebr 14972
This is a problem with the server's delete functionality. I thought it was addressed already though. I guess not.
