strager 18
Hey don't know what's up with this forum, but this is post attempt #3 and it keeps sending me to a blank page on post..... In a suuuuper hurry right now, but there is a bug in auto-organize.... Folder structured like: NAS/Public/TV/Horror/Showname I added the genre levels to the library initially and any new show added in them is added automatically still.... but when adding a show it can't find (forever s01e04.mkv in this case) the auto-organize feature now provides me the list of Genre's (the folders holding the shows) instead of the list of shows themselves like it always has in the past. Happy2Play 8315
I believe you need to change your folder type in Metadata manager. Your genre folder needs to be changed from "inherit" to "TV".
strager 18
I believe you need to change your folder type in Metadata manager. Your genre folder needs to be changed from "inherit" to "TV". My genre folders don't exist in metadata.... My library structure (as opposed to the file structure above) is like: Current TV (contains one set of genres) Old TV (contains another set of genres on a different drive) Movies (contains another set of genres on a different drive) In Metadata Manager it looks like: Current TV Show1 Show2 EDIT: Also I did look to change Current TV's type, but the Type Option is not there for these. EDIT 2: If you mean under Library, it's already set to TV there. Edited February 11, 2015 by strager
ebr 14937
EDIT 2: If you mean under Library, it's already set to TV there. That is your problem. A "TV" type means that the folders directly under that item are TV Series. In your example they are genre folders. So the "TV" folder needs to be set to Unset, and the genre folders need to be set to "TV".
tmservo 2
I'm getting that too.. if it auto-sorts fine. Otherwise, if I chose to manually put into a folder, it doesn't give me the option, it just puts me to the root of my collections rather than a list of show names. Example attached.
