Hello

I am having trouble setting up a media library to access network locations.  In Windows Explorer, I can see the target network drives no problem.  I can browse and map drives.   When I attempt to add a network location for a MediaBrowser Media Library, I can see the network server (a Windows 8.1 machine), but the network shares don't show up.  When I attempt to manually add the share, I am directed to the MediaBrowser logon page.

I'm a bit perplexed.  From what I read from similar setups in the Wiki/posts, adding network locations seem very simple.

My current setup:

MediaBrowser Server installed on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with WMC setup

Home network setup consists of the main MediaBrowser server (Windows 7) and a Windows 8.1 workstation.  Simple workgroup setup with common usernames and passwords configured (no Active Directory setup).

Any advice would be most appreciated.

Are you running MB as a service?  If so, then the user/pw that starts the service must have rights to the folders on the network location also.
