Collections Picture and Shortcut Links in a Collection

I am a longtime MB user and am currently using the latest 2.6x version.  I like it, it does exactly what I want it to do and it does it well.  When I tested MB3, I ran into two major issues.  I posted these on AVSForum HERE.  They recommended I repost the info in this forum.

1.  When I setup the collections, MB3 did not use the folder.jpg file located in the root of the collection folder.  There was only one, so it could not get confused.  MB2.6 used it automatically.  The fix is to open the web interface and manually select the folder.jpg in every single collection I setup.  Yes, I only have to go through that pain once for every collection, but it is still painful.  I would like to see MB3 parse the base folder locations for a collection and, if there is only one folder.jpg, automatically select it.  If not, then either ask which the user wants or default to the current process of using nothing.

2. Shortcuts do not work in my collections.  In MB2.6 they work just fine, but not in MB3. That is huge since my movies are spread out over a couple of HDDs and about half my movies are non-categorized so they fall into the "Other Movies" collection. If I have to change how my shortcuts work then I am not going to move to MB3 due to the huge number of shortcuts I have (around 100 or so). They all point to drive letters.

In MB2.6, I use the following for my "Other Movies" collection and it does not work in MB3:

M:\DVD\Movies\Shortcut to What Dreams May Come (actual folder is located on the N:\ drive)
M:\DVD\Movies\Shortcut to 21 (actual folder is located on the O:\ drive)
M:\DVD\Movies\Shortcut to Arlington Road (actual folder is on the S:\ drive)

In MB2.6 the collection would populate with the movies, in MB3 it is an empty collection.  I would like MB3 to use shortcuts like MB2.6 does.
