MB3 hangs on chapter image extraction

I just discovered MB after some time with Plex and XBMC before that. I must say, I'm quite impressed.

 

I am having one problem. Every time the chapter image extraction task is run it pegs one of my cores and hangs at the same place, 2.9%. It will remain there until I kill it or restart it via systemd/systemctl. I should mention that the server doesn't hang entirely, only the extraction task, though, the web interface does become rather sluggish. I can also say that the the task is definitely not doing much, if anything, I've run iotop when it's hung and nothing related to the server is consuming and disk IO. Oh, and if I attempt to stop the task using the webui nothing happens, it remains unresponsive with a core pegged.
