the-dumb1 121
Hi folks, Been happily using Media Browser now for several weeks to catalog my entire collection of videos. All of the videos I have can't be found in traditional databases online, so I've been manually populating metadata fields that are important to me (specifically actors and keyword tags). For a few videos in my collection, Media Browser picked up one of the pictures in the respective folder, and used it as the "cover" (or thumb) for that video. I want MediaBrowser to generate its own thumbnail (it seems to do a pretty good job of this). Is there a way I can force MediaBrowser to use something other than what picture it found in the folder after its been scanned into the library? Thanks! Luke 38342
you would have to delete the image file first then refresh the item using the metadata manager. there's currently no way to configure it to ignore locally stored images.
