hector 1 Posted January 10, 2015 Share Posted January 10, 2015 Recently I have been receiving emails to link to strange servers that I know nothing about. The email simply states "This account has been requested to link to the server XXXX. Please confirm this action by clicking the link below" I do not make any requests (don't even know how to do it since I have not looked into it and just use the IP). ebr 14960 Posted January 11, 2015 Share Posted January 11, 2015 To attempt a link all you have to know is an account name or email address that is valid out here. That is why there is a confirmation email to validate it. If you just delete those emails, nothing will ever come of it. How many of these have you received? It's possible new people are trying to figure out how to do the linking and several of them were named Hector so they tried that as the link name...
