Game Browser III Advanced

Been using mediabrowser for a while and just started to cleanup my rom collection. So was adding them to GB3 and ran into a little snag. Is there a way to add emulators/systems I want to use different arcade emulators not just MAME is there a way to do this? All the roms are in the mame naming format. I can add the sepperated folders for each emulator under the Arcade catagory. But the emulator configuration only gives me the option to point to a single emulator.exe for launcing

Thanks

Anyone?

I've been editing the configuration files and can add the emulator I want to the GB3 classic config page, But once I do that MB3 can't see the rom files any more does any know what controls what? or I should look at editing to get around this flaw in GB3.

Have you tried going into the server dashboard, then the plugin config for gamebrowser, and adding 2 separate arcade folders. Then you should be able to use a different emulator for each arcade platform in the MBC config. Haven't tried it though so not sure if it will actually work.. True support for multiple emulators and multi game discs hasn't been added yet, and I have no idea when it will be.

Yeah I tried that I can add multiple folders under the arcade category but only one arcade will show up in the plugin configuration screen. Making it impossible to add other emulators. What I've tried to get around this is adding a arcade folder scanning for content then going to gamebrowser config.xml and rename the arcade entry I added. This works that it will add a new entry in the plug in configuration but it also makes to so Mediabrowser can no longer see the content anymore.

why would anyone make a emulator frontend and limit it so much

While testing looking for a solution to this I found another flaw if you define two different locations for roms example:

//server/games/roms/nes

//server/games/roms2/nes

Using the nes catagory in the plugin only gives one path to configure.
