tp546 39
hey guys, i have a lot of sports on my server and i have manually added a lot of athletes images from ESPN but I'm wondering if it would be at all possible to add ESPN or any sports site as a place to pull data from, like images, biography, etc.
ebr 14930
Is there one with a public API?
tp546 39
So it looks like ESPN turned theirs off to the public in August, but CBS has one that I think would work - here is the players API: http://developer.cbssports.com/documentation/api/files/players/list They also have one for schedule that may be usable to pull game data: http://developer.cbssports.com/documentation/api/files/schedules Let me know if that would work. ebr 14930
It means it is possible if someone wants to step up and build a plug-in.

ebr 14930
Sorry, we may be in stumble mode . But, this type of thing is a pretty good project for a new dev looking to get their feet wet. Providers are not that hard to build.
