robcf 0
Hi All, I recently installed Kodi with the Titan Skin and am having difficulty with DVD (or Blu-Ray) disc playback. I have configured the 'Disc' settings contained in 'Video Settings' so that Play DVD Automatically is enabled, however, upon inserting a disc there is no action. Below is an excerpt from the log file, obviously Kodi recognizes a disc is inserted. Are there any window settings that need to be configured such as autoplay ect? "17:56:10 T:4172 DEBUG: CWinEventsWin32::WndProc: Drive E: Media has arrived. 17:56:10 T:131428 DEBUG: CDetectDisc::DoWork: Optical media found in drive E: 17:56:11 T:131428 INFO: CD Analysis Report 17:56:11 T:131428 INFO: __________________________________ 17:56:11 T:131428 INFO: CD-ROM with ISO 9660 filesystem 17:56:11 T:131428 INFO: ISO 9660: 1151849 blocks, label"
xnappo 1593
You will probably get better support over on the Kodi forums - I don't think this is anything to do with the skin/addon.. I don't use discs anymore, so don't know.
marcelveldt 736
@robcf: This is indeed no skin issue (the autostart) but what you can do is add a homescreen tile/shortcut to the "play DVD" action. Settings --> Skin Settings --> edit menu tiles --> add --> common --> play dvd For the autostart thing I suggest you to post in Kodi general forums. robcf 0
@marcelveldy: Thank you for your suggestion, I have added the 'Play DVD' tile to the homescreen. Unfortunately the tile will also not start a DVD disc either. I have started a thread over on the Kodi forum per your suggestion. Thanks again, Rob
