tornadotj 6
I don't know why, but MB Server doesn't start on reboot. Under Advanced, I have "Run server at startup" unchecked. Since the yellow window says to start as a service to uncheck it, that's what I have done. In Services, Media Browser is set to Automatic. But when I reboot, MBS never starts. FrostByte 5052
Does the service start if you manually start it then?
ebr 14930
For a service you will probably have to set it to delayed start. You also need to be sure you correctly configure the user privileges.
tornadotj 6
Yes, it starts manually. I'll configure for delayed start and report back. I have it configured to use Local System account. I am guessing this is OK, because it will start manually? Thanks! FrostByte 5052
It should. I use to have mine set to the default system account with no problem until I added media form a NAS. That has been awhile though. If you change the account it starts with make sure the new account has permission to log on as a service
