hooner 0
Hi When playing films, TV show or anime 99% of the time no subtitles show up when playing on PC or streaming to TV (via NowTV box). Subtitles are enabled in options and menus but do not display. When they do occasionally they are mangled and contain nonsense text. Files all work perfectly with Plex and VLC player. This is same for SRT subs and ASS subs. Also happens with MKV files or MP4 etc. Also when they do work, why are they not pretty fonts and just the cheap over lay looking ones. Mediabrowser and VLC screen shots attached as a comparison. I love Mediabrowser but annoying things like this stop it being perfect, is there a simple explanation/solution or is this a lack of functionality? hooner 0
I am using the Mediabrowser server for Windows http://mediabrowser.tv/download/. I have side loaded the mediabroswer zip vi Dev mode onto my NowTv box as noted here http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/689-how-to-install-media-browser-on-now-tv/ I have installed Plex to test things and all subtitles work perfectlyl, but I don't Like Plex and would prefer to keep using mediabrowser.
