Kremlar 1
Just moved to MB3, and I was surprised to find that it used UPnP to automatically enable external access on my router. I see that there is no separate login required to access the web server, so unless all users in MB3 are setup with passwords anyone can easily access my media. Is there a way to place an extra web-only login to secure my media? I was trying to avoid passwords for all users since I have young kids in the family. Kremlar 1
Thanks, got it! Is it normal to enable UPnP by default? I've seen references to an option under Advanced to disable UPnP but I'm not seeing it.
ebr 14930
It is under Server->Settings->Advanced. Called "Enable automatic port mapping".

tornadotj 6
Is there a setting to turn this off if we only want our server to be accessible locally? I looked around and could not find a way to turn off uPnP. EDIT: found it, it's under Server, Settings, Advanced, Enable automatic port mapping.
