Larry SA 3
Hi All, When using Media Player on the xbox one to access my media, it works but for some reason if I am watching any media and the PC goes in to stand by the file will stop playing. Any clue how I can fix this? Currently I just use the IE to access the web interface and play media that way. OS - Windows
Larry SA 3
Anybody know how I can keep DLNA running even if the PC goes to standby. Never happened on the xbox 360. Edited January 5, 2015 by Larry SA
chef 3746
I think you should still be able to stream media while the PC is in standby mode. If your stream stops then you may need to look at some if the WOL setting. In the WOL settings of windows I believe you can allow streaming while in standby mode. I am also setting up media player on Xbox one and using media browser, so perhaps we will figure out things together.
chef 3746
@@Larry SA My server computer went into standby today, just as you mentioned above. What I did was open the "power settings" on my server machine, and told it to never sleep. Edited January 8, 2015 by chef

chef 3746
Yes you should be able to have the monitor turn off. That is a separate option.
