jscoys 143
Hello! When I go in the sélection of maximum bitrate in my Android client, I can sélect from 250 k to xxM. Is it in bits or bytes? On my connexion I can select 1Mb/s maximum with a 10MBits connexion at the other side (server), but with web client on an Iphone for instance I can select 3 Mbits/s... Is it correct to say that on web client we are in Bits/s and on Android client we are in Bytes/s?

wolfbuddy 16
It's all in Mbps. Essentially you are telling the server to transcode the video (and possibly audio, I'm not sure) at a maximum bitrate that your client device can handle. It sounds like your iPhone can handle higher quality bitrates than your Android device. I have an older android tablet that cannot handle anywhere near the bitrates that my newer Android phone can. What exactly are the two devices?
