mozbius 3
Hi, ever since I have updated to the latest version of Media Browser my "TV Shows" type folders show empty. My tv series tree is as such: Drive:\SerieName\Episode_SXXEXX.mp4 But if I setup the folders as "Movie type" all files in my TV SERIES folders show up. Is it that the accepted folder structure has changed for tv series? NOTE: I've also tried Drive:\SerieName\Season 1\Episode_SXXEXX.mp4 and the season folder still shows empty but then again I don't want to use that type of folder structure anyway (I did try only for test purposes). Also this issue occurs also even if there's no xml files in the folder. That being said here is still the mcm_id__81E286B47BFAC48D70E03E71C0F10D91D6AD7487.dvdid.xml file content (generated automatically) : <Disc>

</Disc> And series.xml file content is (also generated automatically): <Series>
<SeriesName>Grimm</SeriesName> <Status>Continuing</Status> <Network>NBC</Network> <Airs_Time>9:00 PM</Airs_Time> <Airs_DayOfWeek>Friday</Airs_DayOfWeek> <FirstAired>2011-10-28</FirstAired> <ContentRating>TV-14</ContentRating> <MPAARating>TV-14</MPAARating> <certification>TV-14</certification> <Added>11/2/2013 5:51:04 PM</Added> <LockData>false</LockData> <Type>Series</Type> <Overview>Nick Burkhardt thought he prepared himself for the realities of working as a homicide detective until he started seeing things he couldn't explain. clochard69 1
Hi, I'm having the same issues as Mozbius. Not with all series, I noticed it with ufc episodes. But nicely noticed that changing the type of folder to movies "fixes" the problem. If the dev's need more info, I'm happy to provide it. Keep up the great work! Happy2Play 8296
That being said here is still the mcm_id__81E286B47BFAC48D70E03E71C0F10D91D6AD7487.dvdid.xml file content (generated automatically) : This file is generated by Media Center Master not Media Browser. It is an option in MCM for WMC. Edited December 27, 2014 by Happy2Play
Luke 37116
no, classifying as tv is what you should do. let's forget about mbc for a moment and focus on the web client. once that's squared away the rest will follow.
mozbius 3
Anybody managed to reproduce this problem? It used to work properly and then one day it just didn't but to this day I'm unable to figure why.
Longrifle 33
I think I saw the same issue on another post, you should set up your library like this. make a folder called TV Shows (or whatever you want to call it) move all your series folder into the new folder. so example: H:\TV Shows\Grimm \The Walking Dead \LA Law on your EMBY server, remove all tv libraries and only add a location for H:\TV Shows (type of folder TV) run a Library scan. this should fix your issue. also, I see you are using Media Center.. if it does not refresh you can type Control + R to force a refresh. A search on this topic brought me here, but I don't know if I should be posting on the linux section (http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/20907-problems-adding-media-library/?hl=library). Version 3.0.5607.0 /media/drive/Videos/{Movies,TV} I can add a Media Folder for Movies and add a Location and it will be scanned (takes a little while). I can add a Media Folder for TV and add a Location and it will "scan" quickly (0 seconds for 125 items) and "tvshows.html" will show nothing. Both Movies and TV locations contain .dvr-ms videos (originally from windows). I also have a "/media/drive/recorded tv" path (originally from windows) where now tvheadend on ubuntu places the dvr recordings and still has small number of residual videos from windows. When I add an Unset/Mixed Media Folder, adding that "recorded tv" location, it scans quickly, but definitely longer than the TV folder. This time, "index.html" "Latest Media" shows those videos (all tv, both dvr-ms from windows and ts from tvheadend), but the TV folder still remains empty. We probably need to see visual examples of your folder structure to diagnose, thanks.
