Mozy 1
My MB updated today on my Samsung Note 4, and now the app hangs while trying to connect to my server. I can connect through the web browser just fine. Android 4.4.4 MB Server: Version 3.0.5464.40000 I've rebooted both my server machine, and phone with no luck. Tried over both WiFi and 4G. Any ideas? DrWatson 62
You could try clearing the app data on your phone go to settings/app manager/select mb and force stop then clear data not sure it will help but it may.

JeremyFr79 228
Having the same issue on my S4, app wont connect to server over internet but will connect locally just fine. Cleared app data several times and still wont work. If I connect via VPN to my network it will work then. Can connect via web browser and other devices (non android) over internet just fine. markle88 14
Same problem here on my galaxy s5. Won't connect via the android client but works fine for other devices and browsers. server-63554694758.txt client-d5c84547-f144-4b28-84bf-51accac53627.txt
JeremyFr79 228
Just to add, I discovered that it will connect if I use my dynamic DNS name and connect via that, but it will not connect to the external IP of my network (have verified it's still the same and everything else connects via IP just fine)
markavermeulen 0
Has anyone found a solution to this? I have the same problem as JeremyFr79 and markle88. The app and website (http://app.mediabrowser.tv/) connect to the server fine on wifi however only the website will connect remotely. I can't get the app to connect remotely. I have also tried to clear the app data without success. Any suggestions/solutions? Edited December 27, 2014 by markavermeulen

rainio 0
Hello, I have a similar problem: remote access works in the browser, the app logs in though hangs and does not show content (have tried force stopping/clearing data). Weird thing is that it worked after I installed MBA this morning. Logs attached (the zip file has all of hte logs including the one when it worked) from a W7 x64 machine and galaxy tab s (though the same problem exists on a galaxy s3). Thank you. client-97a679e7-0498-4ca2-877a-a00929b1e066.txt server Log.txt logs.zip Edited January 7, 2015 by rainio
rainio 0
Update - port forwarding issue (no idea how it worked first then broke but, hey, this happens with port forwarding)
